Tajweed is the art of reciting Qur’an correctly according to the way of the Prophet (SAWS). It is essential for every single Muslim to know how to recite the Qur’an correctly as it fulfils the basic and primary right of the Qur’an.

Masjid Alhikmah are inshallah launching a tailor made course for adult beginners who can recite Qur’anic Arabic (even if it is at a slow pace) and are dedicated to improving their recitation of the Qur’an. Students will be taught in a structured manner with accompanying course notes and also given a short surah to memorise every week.

Tajweed Module 1 will inshallah explore articulation points of the Arabic alphabet and students will improve their recitation due to their efforts and homework.

Please note: THIS COURSE IS FOR STUDENTS WHO CAN READ BASIC ARABIC SENTENCES/VERSES OF THE QURAN, EVEN IF IT IS AT A SLOW PACE
