Friday 21 – Sunday 23 February 2025 at Masjid Alhikmah and Community Centre

Alhamdulillah we were very fortunate to host brother Mohamad – “That Muslim guy”, who came to Aberdeen all the way from Canada on behalf of Droplets of Mercy, a registered charity doing great humanitarian work in Palestine and Bangladesh amongst other places.

He conducted several workshops for adults and youth alike on the history behind the current situation in the Middle East and wider Muslim world, lessons to be learnt, how to be positive and encourage unity and continuous improvement, and the importance of solidarity and peaceful activism.

There were also Kahoot quizzes and prizes awarded, making it a thoroughly interactive and enjoyable weekend for everyone.

His final reminder was that we all have a role to play in inviting people to Allah and Islam through our good manners, hard work, and exemplary character in the face of trials and tribulations.
